Zé da Pátria

Zé da Pátria is a game, which was made during the Retro Jam Portugal. 

We play as Zé, the best soldier Portugal has. Portugal is being attacked by CodeZilla. It is our duty to save Portugal and end this monster for good. 

We can only move using rocket jumps. The theme for this jam is reaction. We made our rocket malfunction. So in order to make it work again, you need to mash the E button, in a slow motion state. 

CodeZilla has 3 attacks: a laser beam, fire balls and spikes. You have to react quickly in order to evade the attacks. 

Controls:

  - AWDS or Arrows, to point camera;

  - Space bar: shoot;

  - E: fix rocket launcher;

  - Q: Skip cutscenes;
